Summit spits out great career players and will only continue to lose them to the portal.

And lets be honest, guys like Griesel, and the dude that transferred to Creighton from SDSU, just don't belong in a conference like the Summit. Grant Nelson should thank NDSY his development and go to, along with Zeke Mayo. The conference has canibalized itself with player progression. A LOT of conferences ranked higher than the Summit didn't lose even close to the talent that Summit lost.

NDSU has some real good looking underclassmen. Some of those are going to develop nicely and should leave to a better conference.

Summit Definitely having a down year overall but SDSU lost Scheierman to the portal, NDSU graduated it's veteran core, 3 schools went through coaching changes, Denver's best player tore his ACL preseason, Western Illinois lost a ton to transfers and St Thomas is stepping up from D3 but brought in one of the best recruiting classes. There are a ton of talented young players in this conference, IF and it's a big IF these teams can hold onto these guys as they grow up and become more well rounded the conference will elevate big time.

Redshirting this year while recovering from ACL. News of this broke today. Likely portal transfer though IMHO. I find it likely he gets buried on depth chart.
