Fake reverses are trick plays, actual reverses are not, unless they succeed.

Deception is unfair, except when it doesn’t work, then it’s ok, because that makes us look good and smart.

Anything that doesn’t confirm that we’re good and smart is bad and wrong.

Of course that completely hollows out the notion of goodness or smartness, but what’s important here are feelings, especially empty ones.

This is one of my favorites. But normally this would make a lot more sense for a team that had the lead for 45-50 min of game time. JMU had the lead from about 7:45-4:30 in the first qtr. Just a tad over 3 minutes of game time. I don't remember when ndsu took the lead for good, early second?

Sproles scored on the first place of the second quarter and we never trailed again after that.
