Official NDSU v JMU Championship 2.0 Speculation Thread

We got 3 weeks to speculate and jab about this game, so let’s get it started...

We won’t accomplish much running; especially up the middle. Trey and receivers need to be ready to tear it up

I'll speculate that coach Roehl learned quite a bit in the previous three games. Should be another epic Bison-JMU clash. Of course, our defense is dialed in as usual, no speculation required.

I speculate that the Virginia Dookies are making their "NDS Who?" signs right now. On the other hand, they may have plenty left over from two years ago.

Braylon Henderson had his 4th game against Montana State correct? If so that’s too bad as he could add some depth out there but probably not worth burning a shirt for 1 game. I think he will tear it up next year alongside Sproles and Watson.

My quick hot takes on this game:
JMU defense is probably slightly better overall than our D
Our offense is probably slightly better than their offense.

Our all-American tackles vs their all-American defensive ends will be a battle.

Volson has me a bit concerned against that level of DE.

Should be a great championship game!

Next year’s game not so much

Plus throw in Mathis and his height. If he can make some similar progress as Watson from Freshman year to sophomore year our depth at wideout is going to be crazy good.
