How did people get a steal on rental cars in the past? Looking at driving down from MSP and it'd be nice to not put the miles on our car.

Used to Priceline them. If you have Costco membership usually can get a decent rate.

Did this out of Fargo and wasnt bad considering much less inventory but usually not much demand this time of year.

Costco is the way to go. Had booked one from Expedia then remembered Costco. Going to Connecticut from Fargo. Saved 125 going through Costco over Expedia. Had it 7 days. Unlimited miles, extra driver is free, use Costco card and get insurance. The guy was a little surprised when I told him the miles. Less than $300
