After watching a couple late season games of Montana State's I just don't see an elite team. They are good, but not great. Playing well with confidence, but nothing on the team jumps out as overly troublesome or freakishly athletic. Good rb but no Robinson, decent QB but no stud there. Ok at wr. Defense is multiple but I think the ol will be fine. Don't really get the bravado and confidence. I don't think Austin peay was even very good. They were imo the worst quarterfinal team.

I'm sure it will have an effect.....but not as much of an effect as it would on a team who doesn't play in front of large crowds on a regular basis.

Statistically speaking, only 1 of your road game opponents from this year rank in the top 30 in FCS attendance...and that team is the undies from up north...to whom you lost.

Well, usually rank right around you guys in attendance....so our crowds are just about the size of yours...granted they are on our side. There were also 54,000 at the Texas Tech game. I guess we'll have to see how this all shakes out on Saturday. I'm sure you'll get a few false starts....but it probably won't get the Cat's too far off their game, especially since our QB isn't given the chance to call a lot of audibles....
