One dimensional teams don’t come to Fargo in December and win. Period. Limit Robinson and they are done. I see us having a similar game to the previous one, so I pick the same score.

Montana just lost to Weber. Griz qb threw 5 more picks in one game than Trey did all year long. They should play JMU tough I think.

But ultimately JMU vs NDSU is a all but a given at this point. Bison take care of business today 38-6

Redbirds have been playing like roosters on defense as of late - cocky (doing the crab flex gets old after every good play). Their third QB, Bryce Jefferson, is not as good as Brady Davis right now, but he is better than Illinois State's #2 QB, Jack Baltz. No he's not a world beater yet when it comes to throwing (his passes don't have much zip and tend to float), but no need to ignore the passing game completely. NDSU will need to rely on their DBs stopping any passing threat, while their safeties are going to be much needed stopping the run.

I expect the Redbird to be blitzing like crazy, especially on third down, and the Rams rising to the occasion. NDSU beats Illinois State 44-10.

Looking back on it, what would you say were the things you could have improved on in your six losses as a GDT starter?

Good solid win. Trey will sling it for 200, and run for 2 TDs. The songbirds will have some running success, especially up the middle, but it won’t be enough.

He could've spoken up a bit louder prior to Montana, and told Carson to just run the ball if the clock needed to be run out late in the game. He improved tremendously for the 2nd matchup against the Griz later that season, GDT was the difference maker for that playoff win.
He could've warned Carson ahead of the Yotes, that if you feel any pain in the wrist that doesn't feel normal, hand things over to Easton.
He could've left out the article about a 33 game winning streak during the UNI GDT, but I'm not holding it against the guy. After all, he's been GDT'ing us to 34 straight so we good.
He also improved greatly for the 2 losses against SDSU as I believe one of those losses was redeemed by a solid GDT playoff win the same year....and he had another one drafted up for a Frisco rematch with the Bunnies but they went all turnover crazy @JMU that year. Solid GDT jinx right there.
JMU. Probably the best improvement of all GDT's as b15on made another solid contribution to the dynasty by an amazing '17 Chipper Thread. He wasn't distracted by streamers, locked in.

We got the best QB, we have the best program, we're winning all the natties….and we have the best GDT starter in the history of FCS football. No wonder why everyone is jealous.

EDIT: Sticking with my original prediction.

    Bison 34
    Robinson 13

    Let's goooooooooo Bison!

    LOL, good stuff.

I was just thinking this morning that I can vividly remember each of the eight losses. I attended all but one of them (USD because, "there's no way we're losing to USD"). Isn't it crazy there are so few losses that we can just rattle them off. Hell, SDSU lost five times just this season!

Bison play focused and win 38-10.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.
