Agreed. I think their guidance on something like that is to just let it go since the result is the same either way. The only difference is statistical and clock status (start on snap it ready for play) but it was a point in the game where the clock isn't a factor. But those who desire officials to be precise have to live with that. Once it went to replay they needed to do that. The better option would have probably been to not stop for a review.

Defense ruled last night in these three games.
Winter weather - 30s, wet conditions, etc, probably factored in.
Yet, the difference between points last night and these teams averages is a bit shocking.
The Griz - gave up 5 interceptions, but they only led to 3 points. They had other fundamental issues, could not run the ball effectively? so pass in poor conditions?
NDSU defense is better than that of UNI. JMU looks vulnerable now, provided NDSU can score points. JMU's defense is good.
