At NDSU, his first year as a redshirt freshman ran a 4:26 mile. His 4:08 1500m outdoors is about the equivalent. Not bad, but again nothing to get excited about.
His freshman year (eligibility wise); best mile time was 4:18
His sophomore year; best mile time was 4:10. Now things are getting interesting.
His junior year; he runs a 4:08 early in the season.
Really nice progression here. An example of ND talent, underdeveloped in high school. Be a good one to watch. As his confidence grows, maybe we will see a few more big drops in time. Sounds like a good kid to root for.
