D line got dominated for a long stretch today.
In that same vein, the linebackers weren't great against the run either. Nicholls was routinely 4 yards past the line when first contact was made, and the safeties cleaned a lot of the runs up.
Special teams were bad again. Missed kicks, muffed return (tough to handle, but still), really bad punt early, and penalties negating returns.
We're spoiled with Trey Lance. He didn't have one of his better games, but he makes such good decisions with the ball. Freshman are supposed to make stupid mistakes, but he just doesn't.
Penalties continue to happen too frequently. Please clean them up.
Really liked the play of the safeties. They're playmakers.
Sproles had a great first half until he got hurt. I hope the injury isn't major.
    The streak is incredible.

I would guess an AC sprain. I’ve had my fair share of those from being tackled in that manor.

That's a hell of a game. Who does he play for?

"Targeting" penalties/player-kicked-out will do more to ruin the game of football than the "concussion/CTE scare" will. The Nicholls player did NOTHING wrong and was unfairly ejected and Jabril's play should have been just another football play and move on to the next down. We either decide we're playing American Football or call it something else. Beyond ridiculous.

Exactly, there is a big difference between aggressiveness and stupidity. Too much stupidity.

How many points have been taken off the board because of penalties this year?

Looking back at highlights I really don't see how Trey's 3rd and 16 run wasn't a first down? He was clearly over the 40 when his knee hit. What angle was the replay booth working off of?

That was a telling play either way. Trey had something today that the rest of the offense just seemed to lack.

Well SDSU is one dimensional - run Robinson. He ran 37 times today for SDSU against UNI for 210 years, 2 TD and 5.7 average. If Code Green cannot stop runs up the gut, its going to be a long day.

I'm not surprised. History after a bye is slow Bison starts. This one hold true.
