Nicholls State is coming to town

In 2004, NDSU, led by Tony Stauss, won in Louisiana 24-14. RB Kyle Steffes han a big day, 141 and 2 TD.

The next year, 2005, NDSU beat Nicholl State 26-13 in Fargo. It was an all around even performance with no major standouts.

I remember these games. When we first moved to Division 1, Gene Taylor was forced to schedule lots of home and home games with teams from down south to fill out the schedule (Sam Houston State, Mississippi Valley State, Nicholls State, Stephen F. Austin).
