While we are discussing FCS Imperialism lets not forget to mention what I read in the GF Hearld Sports today ( I'm sure it wasn't a joke??). Nichols State is hosting the Hawks this weekend. The visitors lockeroom is an outdoor tent sytem, portable sh-tters, showers the whole enchilada during a remodel project. Now, am I to understand that Nichols was AWARDED the bid for this playoff game????? Nice job FCS, way to make yourselves look legit and confirm D2 status. Yep, the article is in todays GF herald, 'UND's Lockeroom at Nichols this weekend will be Tents'.. Very impressive when UND has a dome stadium and it's a "bid for the game" round of the playoffs.

UND should have been able to bid $1 and get the game. You should'nt hold a game when your visitor facilities at playoff time are "TENT CITY". What a fond memory from playing in the league in years to come. "Were you treated like a playoff team"? "No, I took a shit ten minutes before taking the field in a Porta-let, showered in a tent just like elk camp, the home team had nice digs though"........

So a lesser deserving team should get to host because of stadium renovations? Had UND not been obliterated by Idaho St., you might have a legit argument. As such, count your blessings UND is even in the tourney.

If that’s the case and others have been this slow on picking up on the irony, it would imply the poster IS actually smarter than the rest of the posters. The poster really would be a know it all, and thus the name would actually not be ironic.
