LaCilento had about 35 offers from Football Bowl Subdivision and Football Championship Subdivision schools. He had late offers from Group of Five FBS programs Texas State, Louisiana-Monroe, Appalachian State and Charlotte.

Not to throw any shade to UND, but is Texas State a step up? He'd get a hell of lot more exposure playing in the MVFC than he will at Texas State.

Shh! Doesn't fit Chapo's narrative.

I'd expect this guy to come in and compete for playing time at LG and RG with Jensen and Zabel. It'll be a great insurance policy if Zabel isn't ready in the fall at RG. The O-line will be deep. Volson, Mauch, Rock, and Miller at tackle. Jensen, Zabel, LaCilento, Willis, and the Kubas bros at guard. Sundell and Westburg at center. Should be lots of rotating. I'd also think a young guy like Seth Anderson among others should be pushing for PT.
