and for those above whining, i'm not a fan of d2 offerred recruits. sorry. I'm saying Kramer might of been the deciding factor like he gave his approval that he could mold him into a 300+ with muscle, just a guess.
Our best o lineman usually had zero FBS recruits. Some werebwalk ons.

I don't believe there is any limitation from the NCAA. I know a student who graduated from a local D3 school last year. He played football but his academic scholarships and grants gave him a near full ride. I think the difference is the source of the funds and their status on an athletic team won't impact the scholarship. Many school issued scholarships require a certain GPA. If you don't achieve that you lose the scholarship but you are still academically eligible to play.

    To this......
(whom to offer - star struck...)

https://247sports.com/college/north-...tball/Commits/ in fact only a couple FBS offers total & 3-4 D2/PWO kids.

Granted, not having the Summer Camps is killllllling that vibe this year
Wrong page, try 247’s offer page:

    https://247sports.com/college/north-...otball/Offers/m

NDSU has done their “shoot for the stars”

    - 40 listed NDSU offers, including 19 three star athletes, also 6 two star athletes...

    - 12 of the three stars have committed elsewhere

    - so far only one of the two stars has committed

    Also:
    - ND athletes have historically been slow to be ranked, if ever the player gets there.
So 3 of the NDSU commits are home-state - Kpeenu, Sibomana and Duttenhofer. Andrew Leingang did get an early 3 star rating and also got early FBS offers, but obviously he most likely goes FBS.

    - Some recruits get upgraded by the services depending on the offer (s) they get - be patient - a Bison offer can lead to an upgrade

    - JMO but it looks like 247 & Rivals work has been slowed down by health reasons and also reduced football camps. In a quick check of 247 the other day, only 9 Minnesota players were ranked. Rivals only had 5 Minnesotans ranked. Those numbers seem way low, they’ll get to it...

    - QB commit Cole Payton is a two star rank at 247

    - Sometimes a player page on 247 does not show stars as that is the national average, but when you go to the next page for the player they are ranked for the state. An example is WR Bryce Lance, his 1st page shows as NR, but his next page shows him as a three star for the state of Minnesota.

    - The player who started this “discussion” - Sam Henry -
Wow! Does he ever look like a prototype OT! 6’ 6” and having a 83” wingspan - again Wow! Glad to see his commit to NDSU. In watching his tape, he also played some at G, so if his footwork/athleticism/whatever doesn’t work out at OT, he could move inside. If he is already 270, then he doesn’t have as far to go size-wise as some - incoming FR Grey Zabel listed at 6’ 5” 240 and Mason Miller at 6’ 6” 240.
Bet he ends up with a couple stars next to his name...

Heard from a very reliable source the Bryce Lance is moving to QB. Can anyone else confirm this?

hes been practicing both QB & WR in captains practices so far. thinking they are just experiencing.

think Raja Nelson...our recruit. he was a star WR/RB. but as a senior he stepped up and became QB.

A LB that NDSU is still in the running for -

    Logan Kopp - 6’ 1” 200 - LB/ATH - St Louis (Lindbergh)

#20 on the St Louis Dispatch Super 30 list:

    https://www.stltoday.com/sports/high...mpression=true

......He’s received offers from Eastern Illinois, Northern Arizona, North Dakota State, South Dakota and UT-Martin.

Kopp finished his junior year with a 4.4 cumulative grade point average and that helped earn him offers from Ivy League blue bloods Brown and Columbia......
Also has offers from Missouri State, SEMO, Murray State
