If football players want to walk on to play for NDSU that can only be a good thing.

It’s not a money thing more of a numbers thing I’m guessing. Maybe I have missed it but do players like Cordell, who plans to return, count against the 63 limit or are they exempt?
I think Covid proved anything can happen. I have no issue if that means more walk on opportunities
I'm pretty sure the scholarship limit is removed this fall but I'm not sure if it's no limit or if they have some formula to calculate 5th/6th year guys and discount them. Maybe that's another reason why the transfer portal is so nuts this year???

He was a true freshman this past season so he still has 4 years of eligibility left: https://letsgopeay.com/sports/footba...ijah-culp/9111

Had 22 tackles and 2 INTs and played in 8 of their 9 games. Not sure if he started but assuming with those numbers he either started or was a key reserve this spring for them.

    Culp commits to NDSU!

Bison Report had some good stats on Culp in an article from yesterday. He was graded in the top 10 of all CBs in the FCS this spring by PFF College and gave up a passer rating of 38.1 for passes thrown his way this spring. Talbert and Price were in the 90-100 range. Yes, that's in the OVC for Culp vs MVFC for the Bison guys but this guy looks like he can be an immediate contributor and has 4 years of eligibility left.

Should have seen that. I'll say it again, seems like a solid get at QB for a PWO. That to me you can attribute directly to getting three QBs drafted in a row and two as top 3 picks.

Why didn't NDSU offer Wayzatas Tommy Hamann. just committed to SDSU.

    6 3 225 DE. cuz NDSU usually offers DE's that are 6 4 6 5?
