Figured I'd bump this thread instead of the one we were told "don't reply" in the thread title that's been getting bumped recently for Trey Lance stuff.

I saw a blurb on AGS today that Trey is one pass attempt away from tying Easton Stick's NDSU program record for most consecutive passes without an interception. He's at 151 (which includes every pass he's thrown in his collegiate career) and Stick's record stands at 152 set between the 2016 quarterfinals against SDSU and game 7 of the 2017 regular season against WIU.

You realize you just jinxed the kid! I can see now that his first pass against Youngstown is going to be a pick.

I will take full responsibility if that happens.

How do completion percentages compare in that span of throws?

Good question. I bet Trey's completion percentage of 68.2% (103-151) is higher than Stick's was during his longest string of passes without an INT.

I had some time to kill at work. Stick's last interception before the streak was a 3rd quarter pick against SDSU in the 2016 playoffs. He went 96/152 over the rest of that game and the next 7 games before a 1st quarter pick against Western Illinois in 2017. Completion percentage of 63.2%

I didn't have time to figure exactly when in the game Stick threw a pick, but I guessed and came up with almost the same % that you did...
