" Our strategy for winning against BISON was simple, we put our WRs and RBs in a 1 on 1 situation with their defense in the backfield.....everybody knows they have some freshman who cannot tackle in a 1 on 1 situation.....Joe Glen"
Be careful, don't recruit too many QB's. Now 3 on the roster plus one new freshman this fall and now Trey Lance is commit. Looks like Trey might play a few years from now.
Not sure if having too many talented QBs is a bad thing after what happened in the 2000 playoffs.
Also, those talented QBs that don't eventually start also have the option to excel at other positions on the team.
Hail the BISON!!!
Welcome Trey!
If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.
Correct. It really is a brilliant strategy as NDSU is letting some of these guys figure out on their own they will never start at NDSU, then moving them to spots the fit needs/athleticism since those same guys are likely some of the best athletes on the team. It really is a very, very smart move. (I am NOT saying he will never play QB; just that how they handle having too many has been brilliant.)
24/7 is pretty high on him. His highlights are fun to watch, that's for sure.

Good article in the Marshall paper too:

BTW, for those geographically challenged, there is a MVFC wannabe school very, very near Marshall......
Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Minnesota also did this video feature on Trey...
