I thought the coach sounded a little ill informed even though it was game week.
Then I read this. https://www.news-leader.com/story/sp...es/3963435002/
I like to surround myself with people who share in my inappropriate comments, sarcasm, and random shenanigans
Would be awesome if Lance went to the NFL after his junior year, and he just may with the way he's playing. Would be crazy to have an FCS QB be good enough to leave after his Jr year and get drafted.
I get the feeling the coach knows the opposing players by numbers instead of names. In and of itself, I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. If his brain works better remembering numbers rather than names, go with it. But you also have to be a good coach either way, and he doesn't appear to be one by his results. (Though who knows how much is him, and how much is lack of institutional support?)
Just for the hell of it for this week, especially to see if we can get him some air time (albeit goofing) about the Heisman, here's the link again for your votes. Between my 2 phones (regular surf + incognito) and my 2 computers, I've voted 6 times today, which is my max effort available.
