    Really, completions without an interception is a more interesting stat.

    Total yards added in would make it even better.

    I’ll yield to someone better than me for those numbers.

    Alright, last one for me lol. Stick - 96/152 for 1,277 yards, 8.4 yards per attempt, 13.3 yards per completion. Lance 103/151 for 1,331 yards, 8.8 yards per attempt, 12.9 yards per completion. As long as my math is correct

    Perfect, thanks.

    Now all we need are TDs per throw;

    Confirmed drops; and

    Percent of throws that were catchable, along with exact percent of those... saw where some are actually doing that now.

    Stick was 8-0 as a starter after his redshirt freshman year. Trey has, at least, 4 more games in his redshirt freshman year. That's the most math I can do.

    So I went back and look at Easton Stick's numbers through 9 games last year when he finished runner up in the Payton award voting. This is what where he was at:

    98-171 (57.3%) for 1554 yards (9.1 ypa), 14 TDs, 2 INTs on a 158.3 pass efficiency rating to go along with 69 carries for 388 yards (5.6 ypc) and 10 TDs rushing

    Trey Lance through 9 games this year:

    109-159 (68.6%) for 1479 yards (9.3 ypa), 19 TDs, 0 INTs on a 186.1 pass efficiency rating to go along with 88 carries for 624 yards (6.8 ypc) and 8 TDs rushing

    He's having a nice year so far.

    I know I'm nit picking, but he does need to work on his running. What made Easton deadly was he'd cut and explode out of the cut. Trey sometimes dances too much and he is missing his home runs due to it. As crazy as it sounds, I think he needs to spend a little time with the RB's as Cofield is an example of a guy who has learned how to hit a cut, and go.

    Agreed, that would also help him avoid taking more hits which Stick was better at as well. Lance is just as powerful when running through tackles as any of the RBs though. He still has plenty of room for improvement in his passing game too particularly with his field vision and progressions. He's got plenty of time to do that though and even with those minor deficiencies he is still off the charts for a freshman... think about how good he's going to be in a year or 3???

    I would agree. He is analyzing his runs too much, lately. Needs to plant and go and get North/South yards first then make breaks and GO!!
