The FCS wedge had an interesting interview with the AD from Montana who is on the selection committee... He specifically brought up that they changed the rules a bit after all the MVFC teams ended up on the same side of the bracket...

Yeah, that rule has been in place since 2016. If there's 4 or more teams from the same conference in the field they can add an extra flight to split them up so at least one team is on the opposite side of the bracket from the others.

Nobowls.com has 4 MVFC, 3 Big Sky and JMU as seeded teams into the playoffs.

Seems right to me at this stage.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. I want UNI to be on the Bison side of the brackets so that I will be tempted to make my virgin visit to Fargo!

Agree. Would be super surprised if they go with 4 from 1 conference—unless it’s the CAA, of course, because, we all know they deserve it.

In all seriousness, it sure feels like whoever finishes 2nd in the CAA will be an automatic 8 seed.
