    That's too bad. I thought he would have a chance to see some playing time his late junior or senior season after redshirting. Wasn't overly big but probably a center or guard but with Zabel looking really really good, it probably knocked him down the depth chart.

    Yea Depth chart. But he was an Odd Duck, He Couldve been a really good player.
    Never stood by his position group during games and wasn't like his brother Dillon, so its a good decision by him to head back home to twin cities. maybe St Thomas or D2
    they have Twin season tickets next to me, ill buy him a beer and see whats up next time I see him.

    Any transfers go through the portal. A lot of FBS players end up in FCS..A lot of FCS players end up in D2/D3. I would be willing to bet more move down than up ultimately.

    Absolutely. There will be a few studs moving up. But that's not gonna be the norm.
