Dillon's younger brother. He's played the last 2 years at NDSCS in Wahpeton. Listed as an OG/OT at 6'4" 275 on Wahp's football page. Here's his full bio: http://www.ndscswildcats.com/sports/...dunz_nick_hz7z

He'll have 2 years eligibility left plus a redshirt if they want to utilize it.

This is a great signing. He's an All American at that level. Size is perfect for a guard or center. Will have 3 years to complete 2 seasons plus 4 game rule. Gets into camp early after graduation in December to speed up the learning curve and has a brother to show him the ropes. A long playoff run will give him more practice time. Probably wont share the field with his brother since he will be redshirting but I could see him being an impact player late junior and senior season if he can learn faster than most players

Looking quickly through that list, Justin Gatlin is the name I recognize the most.

Don't know what happened with him this spring (injury???) but he never appeared in a game despite being an upper classman technically and them being down to something like 7 or 8 healthy o-lineman at times. Guessing he's probably buried on the depth chart at this point with younger players above him so he's looking to go somewhere where he can play. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

This is where the transfer portal gets a little confusing to me. Guys already could move down a level with no problem. Probably what this situation is. But now, they are entering "the portal" where you typically think about that for guys going laterally or up....granted, maybe someone in FCS wants him.
