I thought the best criticism of the half back toss was regarding design. These is a reason folks usually pitch it; it buys the RB a little more time to throw as he runs to the boundery. Just took too long.....

Yeah, I agree. I'd think Kobe would be a good kick returner (think Bruce Anderson role from 2015). Put him and Ty back there and they've got lethal speed on either side.

It’s pretty obvious to me. The coaching staff felt that the best way fro the Bison to be a better team this year was to bench Kobe for a while.

Kobe appeared to be ok with it and said he needed to prove himself. Well I think he proved himself bigtime.

I can see with the rb position so deep and a QB run heavy gameplan, Kobe just not being part of the offensive rotation. It's him not being back on kick returns that's a head scratcher to me.

If it was a teaching moment to keep him locked in and focused. So be it. Looks like it payed off.

Exactly. After watching Kobe's interview, he seemed to really emphasize giving 100%. He said it a few times I believe. I'm thinking he got lazy somewhere...maybe practice? I think it was a wake up call to get him 100% invested.
