Brookings Gameday----It's Only There Because of the Bison

I know it's a long ways off, but the current forecast for Mpls on Nov 9th has a high temp of 24 which is one reason Gameday might decide to head south.

I get the #1 vs #2 aspect but against Penn State it will be a damn near top 10 matchup and I would think the crowd would be better in Minnesota than Alabama since they’ve been there countless times.

The Goofs are playing better than they did the 1st month. I dont think they are as bad as ppl think.

Gameday going back to back to SDSU then Memphis is setting them up to go to Bama in 2 weeks for 1 v 2.

I was watching the replay of Gameday last night and Herbie burned the Goophers pretty good when Rece mentioned that PJ Fleck was campaigning for Gameday to come to Minnesota on 11/9 mentioning Fleck's boast about how "There will be 4 million people there if you come". Kirk said something like "What day is that? November 9th? Yeah... see you in Tuscaloosa."

The fact they did the story on the Gopher's holder who has beaten cancer 4 times this last weekend tells me they are not going to the Twin Cities this year.

Somebody with the Tweeter account should reply to PJ’s account that if he wants to get GAMEDAY all he has to do is schedule NDSU. To be helpful then just include Matt Larsen’s phone #.

Maybe this has been mentioned already, but I am just loving how much hype and hope bunny fans had going into last weekend, and how we crushed their hearts. It was going to be the beat day in the history of SDSU football. Gameday on campus, playing #1 NDSU. Corso was going to but on the bunny mascot head, Jacks were going to beat the #1 Bison, end the winning streak, claim the top spot in the conference and the nation. Instead, Herbstreit picks the Bispn, Corso puts on Thundar’s head, their Gameday experience ends with them booing, they lose to the Bison again, and their qb get hurt. Man, I enjoy the taste of their tears. No wonder they hate us! Ha!!
