2022 recruit Max Peterson went 9-2 at 138 for Team Kong at the National High school duals. Team Kong took 1st place. Peterson’s two losses were in the semi final dual, 5-2 to Caden McCrary (top 30 recruit going to North Carolina) and in the championship dual 13-7 to Casey Swiderski, Iowa’s St recruit #62 overall in the class of 2022.
Bison fans are blessed. Enjoy it.

2021 Recruit Alex Ramirez was also on Team Kong. He went 5-0 at 160 with four falls in the matches he participated. He split time with uncommitted Vincent Zerban, Illinois, the #6 recruit at 152 according to Flo wrestling. Flo has Ramirez ranked #20 at 152.
Bison fans are blessed. Enjoy it.

Looks like 2022 recruit Jore Volk out of Lakeville has narrowed his school down to five. Minnesota , NE, NDSU, OK St and WY. Flo has him has the #35 recruit in the class and projects him at 125/133. Would be a huge get for the Bison.

NDSU is also listed as a finalist for these 2022 kids:

    #114 Nash Singleton, Oregon
    #115 Gabe Giampietro, Delaware
    #166 Fin Nadeau, Montana

They weren't listed as a finalist for #17 James Rowley, who has blown up in the past year after they were on him early.

Willie also didn't have a comprehensive list, and I'm still hopeful they are a contender for CJ Hamblin out of Washington and some more California kids.

They have verbals from Peterson and Drexler for 2022, and were a finalist for #27 Casey Swiderski, before he picked Iowa State.

Jore Volk commits to Wyoming. Their third top 100 recruit for the 2022 class this week.

CJ Hamblin commits to Northern Colorado. I'm a big fan and think he's going to be great. Really wanted him in green and gold.

Northern Colorado continues to do very well in recruiting.

Bison Recruits at the Jr National Duals in Tulsa

DJ Parker and Mikey Caliendo won Illinois 3A state titles yesterday. I think these two could be four year starters at 165 and 184.

Combine them with the California kids alone, and the 2021 class has a really good chance to be exceptionally productive. Likely long term starters at: HWT between Mora/Vacura/Gripka, if he can keep making the weight Negrete at 125, Caliendo at 165, and Parker at 184. If Ramirez winds up coming in still, he can slide in after Franek leaves.
