Looks like we've got Valpo and Albany from the CAA coming to Fargo so that means there's one game to fill - and it can be a road/FBS game.

NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
And as a bonus we can rerun the editorial by Derrick Slovik about he thought NDSU made a mistake going D1 and our first game was against Valpo.
FBS OR BUST FIRE LARSEN
Hey UND: 34-9...38-7...34-13...16-6...42-21

Each year the schedule becomes less and less interesting. Sure we have the playoffs (which are great) but most years we have 2 or 3 meaningful games (SDSU and a couple of playoff games). I know that we have a few FBS coming up but that's becoming few and far between.
At this point in time i'd rather see more competitive/interesting games even if it meant us losing more and not being eligible for a "Championship". In a different thread somewhere was some discussion of the Liberty Schedule as an Indy.... Their schedule is FAR more superior to ours and it isn't close. Sure they won't play for a national championship but their fan base has a lot to be interested in each year.
I think the OOC scheduling has gotten better from the FCS perspective (i.e. OOC home games) recently. Go back to the first few years in the MVFC and look at the FCS home games they were getting:
2008: Central Connecticut St and Austin Peay
2009: Wagner
2010: Morgan St and South Dakota
2011: Lafayette and St Francis
2012: Prairie View A&M and Robert Morris
2013: Ferris St and Delaware St
2014: Montana and Incarnate Word
2015: Weber St and UND
2016: Charleston Southern and EWU
2017: Mississippi Valley St and Robert Morris
2018: Cal Poly, North Alabama, and Delaware
2019: UND and UC Davis
Seems like 2014 and onward (with a blip in 2017) we started seeing a pretty nice uptick in quality OOC games in the Fargodome. Yeah, I'd like to have more FBS games too but I'd also like to have a toilet made out of solid gold but it just isn't in the cards.
NDSU is regressing and its sad as hell.
Trey Lance gonna be a sophomore , we should be playing big time teams. Play 2 FBS games a year, lets show some dam pride.
