Well, really, Sam Houston State is the only team in the FCS that has played more games than NDSU has won since 2010. The Bearcats have played 136 (99-37) and the Bison have only won 135... so far.
OTOH, UND sucks.

So if the Bison win the NC this year, only Mount Union(146 games played) will have played more games than NDSU will have won among NCAA schools? UW-W will have also played played 136 games. I can't imagine any other schools that could get to those levels.
But NDSU can't quite match Mount Union's win total of 138-8.

I’ve heard and thought of the incredible stat of having less than one loss per year the last 9 years. However, that number is even more amazing considering we usually have 14-16 games per year. I think a better way to look at it is the number of games played per loss. Right now, the the Herd averages 1 loss every 16.75 games this decade (not the past decade but 2011- 2019).
