Said on Dom's show that he was recruited to play D-end.

Since we learned he will be playing DE... he probably is 6-3 or 6-4. We probably wouldn't recruit a kid playing a new position unless he has the prototypical 6-4 DE frame

He's basically the same size as a HS Senior as SDSU DE Reece Winkelman was, who also came from Marshall and is up to 250 lbs as a third-year sophomore.

    Here's his Hudl profile: https://www.hudl.com/profile/8007406/Trey-Steinbach
(Teammate notes, if anyone cares: No. 9 is Lance's lil brother, No. 74 is committed to Iowa)

And I think you should check the roster. Most of the Fr and RFr DE’s listed are 6’2” to 6’3”.

Right but most of our DEs played DE all through high school or they have elite quickness. Their not guys learning a new position.

We dont have great DE size after Tuszka graduates. Outside of Waege, were not overly huge which is a little concerning

6-4 is prototypical for FCS which is Treys size. Of course Emmanuel was only 6-3 and Menard 6-2

I'm partial to the 6-4 Colter Boyers or 6-5 Kole Jiriks and Derrick Tuszka types

Yep he was only 6-2... but quick as a cat with long ass arms. Emmanuel was only 6-3 but he was so strong and athletic it was almost comical.
