Well, if NDSU could schedule the U of M and lose to them in a close game, then we would have a moral victory to push us up the standings.

But how did they do in the trenches? That's the real question.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

I learned tonight that #6 ISUr is rubbish because the Bison whomped on them. Stoney Brook at #24 is a world beater worthy of a very high ranking because the Doooks almost lost.
Such is the world out east...

On a more serious note, ISUr's #25 is one heck of a running back, but was a one trick pony for the Redbirds. Bison offense was fun to watch against a very good d-line in Normal. Bison D was extraordinarily stout on the goal line stand after the Birds TD was denied by the officiating crew (it sure looked like six points on the ESPN+ broadcast).

Watching EWU play Sac St and EWU looks horrible (apparently Barrie (SP?) is out with injury). Right now the EWU / Sac St broadcast is showing Bison highlights from last year in Frisco.

    Don’t you dare say that!!!

JMU almost lost to this team and it is disrespectful to JMU to say that the team that they almost lost to is trash. Check yourself!!!

Crazy to think that EWU and UCD are likely out of the playoffs already. 2 teams starting the year in the top 5 donezo after week 6.

Oh he was in the end zone for sure. Unanimous among my folks. Bison knew it too, but didn’t give a F and made the stand. Calls go both ways all the time. Wouldn’t have mattered overall but that showed a real extra toughness from the Bison D.
