In many ways, i think the Aggies outplayed us today. Their drives were often stopped more by their penalties than anything. Tusk was the player of the game.

UC Davis put a lot of pressure on Garrett Wagner. They almost blocked one punt and a couple other times it looked like their pressure affected his punts.
We would have been in huge trouble against an elite defense....coaches have a ton of work to do

NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.
Freshman/sophomore players made freshman/sophomore mistakes. Had our struggles today but pulled out the win. Lots of drops and missed tackles. Correctable mistakes. Trey was off... he’s not going to complete 70% of his passes every game.

1. The defense, particularly in the 4th quarter, won this game.
2. Trey Lance was human today. More off target throws today than the first three games combined.
3. UC Davis offensive line was the best unit on the field today. They were really good.
4. UC Davis kicking game was great. Punter averaged 55 yards and none of it was from lucky bounces. Kicker nailed three 40+ yard field goals.
5. Team wasn't firing on all cylinders and still beat a very good team by 11. May not have been pretty, but it was a win.
6. Pretty much no action for Kobe Johnson and Saybein Clark. Would like to see them getting more touches.
7. Talbert played really poorly. That is going to be some rough tape to watch.
8. Crosa doesn't have a huge leg, but he looks very consistent.
The final score was similar to their loss at California who is currently 4-0.
It's OK to not be OK.

Looked like Jabril took his guy second half. Probably limited his production too.
