UC Davis Post-Game Thoughts/Discussion

Does it really matter what polls say? Who fricken cares. We are 1 or 2 in them, and a lot of substance to those spots are based on our history. Let things play out and we’ll see where we are ate PO time. How really care right now?

I'm glad we had this game turn out the way it did. Good for the players (and probably more importantly the coaches) see they aren't as good as they thought they were. This should focus them. I don't think the previous games did anything but give some glorified practice and possibly puff up egos. This should be good fuel for the offense.

If NDSU wins @ISUR and beats UNI...it would be way past time to make a switch in my opinion and Brian would deserve being ripped to shreds on twitter for his lack of judgement. I could get that logic if JMU had beaten WVU but that wasn't the case.

I will add if NDSU is undefeated through SDSU than this team is going to win another title. That is a stretch that features 6 top 25 teams with 4 being in the top 10.

I agree with TAB. And I felt that score differential is pretty reflective of the ability difference between the teams. (bad throws and drops by NDSU equaled by the turnovers by UC davis) (yes, I know NDSU helped force those turnovers)

The Bison won pulling away. UC Davis managed only one TD during the entire game. And in the 2nd half, they managed just one field goal... 3 points. Meanwhile the Bison were pulling away from UC Davis in the 4th quarter and showing stronger. UC Davis struggled to keep up with the Bison on the scoreboard, and ultimately faded at crunch time.
