I agree. Also, I think the Bison D players were starting to recognize the Davis O plays and the QB timing. It was not just dumb luck the Bison got the turn overs.
Hey Barkeep, another round of the green stuff for me and my buddies!

Saybein should be getting more carries.

Hot take, give Saybein Clark the carries and let Kobe keep the redshirt.

1 interception? could be luck, could be skill..
2 interceptions? Stating to be a trend- very likely to be skill
3 Interceptions? We figured something out and we are definitively in control of the situation.

I dont think the narrative on the JMU/Colgate game last year was "JMU has colgate on the ropes!!!"
Uhhh no, Colgate was in control of that game even if the score was moderately close.
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
    3. It's time to go FBS

Gotta like that the defense had two TFLs and an INT to end that threat.
    This was my thinking exactly.

Unless something radically different than what we're seeing on the field is going on in practice it seems weird mothballing Clark and pulling a redshirt.

Winning pulling away or hanging on... still a win. I feel like it was somewhere in between.

Next, next weekend on the road against a conference foe will be a good barometer of what level this team is at. back to back road games at SDSU and UNI starting in late October will probably answer the question: Is this team a title contender? SDSU's D-line looked really good against the Gophers. That will be the telling game!!! On the road against a well balance ranked team. If you can beat SDSU at their house this year you can win it all at the FCS level.
