I think roehl has done a good job calling plays for a 1st time oc. Could run lance less. Brooks is not a number 1 back but needs to be used as a change of pace and outside runner. Can we please see cofield and Clark as the main rb until Williams is back. Holy does kobe look like a stud at rb.

From my point of view it was not a rival by a long shot. The part of the crowd I sat in didn't even get excited or make the slightest noise on defense starting with the first UND drive.

Not sure what any of that has to do with a person’s “goodness” one way or the other. He’s working for free for at least the next three years, as far as I’m concerned he should do what ever he thinks is best for his future in football and in life and that’s the end of it.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

Stop with this bullshit...He is getting a college education plus some expenses while he plays football. If he doesn't want to do that, he can choose a million different paths as an adult.

He can do exactly that at another school too if he wants.

This whole discussion is rather silly anyway. The guy is likely gonna play another 50ish games at NDSU.

    I agree!

The issue I have is the working for free comment. If he doesn't want to play football in college, he shouldn't.

Now I realize the NFL pretty much requires folks to go the college route to "work" for them, but that is not college football's fault.

    1. Defense still worries me a bit especially the limited sacks.
    2. The offensive line also worries me. This line is supposed to be one of the best and they struggled opening holes in the middle. They struggled a bit against Butler as well.
(Are these problems due to the new coaching plays and techniques? Only time will tell.)
    3. I really hope Entz preserves Kobe Johnson's redshirt, but seeing that he went in before Saybein Clark worries me.

These are my only concerns, along with the minor clock management problems at the end of the first half. Like many have said, why not use that situation for practice, plus another score would have been nice right before the half?

Trey Lance is the real deal, at this stage of his college career he's way ahead of where I thought he would be.
I predicted 2-3 losses at the beginning of the season, but with 2 games in I'm starting to doubt my predictions especially after watching other MVFC games.

Aces I really admire your stamina. I think you win the day. Wish I could grant you a game ball. At this moment I am sitting in front of s roaring bonfire in relatively calm 60 degree temp with no precipitation and I am tilting a chilly glass of Makers Mark back in your honor. Here’s to you Bison.
