We all know UN_ will not drop football let alone move back to D-2. Maybe they should become a member of the Pioneer League and be non-scholly. That way they could bring back women's hockie.

But that's what they should do. Gives NDSU a possibility of FBS eventually. No way ND will ever support two D1 teams, FBS and FCS. I'd say it can't even support two FCS. Hey, they could get a rivalry going with UST and we could get one going with UMN. It would be awesome and everyone would be happy for a change.

And no, you can't force a team from FCS to FBS. Completely different animal. I bet that kind of comment gets Undies blood boiling though

Not sure why no one up there can't see the elephant in the room. You're in the same ****ing state as NDSU. That's your problem. That's not going to change. This program is too special and instead of just being jealous and petty and small-minded, you should embrace it for what it is and enjoy it.

My thoughts. One team was clearly more athletic than the other. The edge was there for the having and was taken when NDSU wanted it. If UND competes at all in the next decade, I will be impressed. I don't think they will ever appreciate how much the Bison never left 2nd gear. If there was any part of the game that concerned me was Bridges getting left behind when he covered receivers tight. I don't remember seeing it like that in the past. Lance tried to force one pass in the end zone. That is pretty much the first mistake I have seen him make. He is very special and we are two games and some change into his career. MVFC play will be fun. There will be some real life defenses that will give the Bison trouble and it will be a lot of fun seeing #5 navigate through that.

If he wasn’t from Fargo everyone on this board would be calling him a flop.

Based on what I saw, he ran pretty hard and was not easy to take down. I thought he was the type of guy that could be a difference maker in the right situation. There wasn’t much opportunity for him to shine in this game.

No I think your missing the point that the 4 game rule is still very new. How many players played 4 or less games in a year simply becuase of injury? Or maybe played 3-4 games git injured and came back late in the year? Now if a player sees the field 3-4 times then gets injured you can choose to sit him the last 2 games and it becomes his redshirt year.

Basically with the new rules it's easier to redshirt a kid any year of his 5 I stead of just banking on the redshirt year always being his 1st.

You mean Fargo, or do you mean North Dakota?

I would really like to see a stronger no conference schedule.

Und and Delaware are hit and miss, both a miss this year.

As long as the selection committee keeps rewarding 10 win teams from weak conferences with playoff births it's going to be very difficult to get great non conference home games.

What was the Delaware score again? Can't remember.
