Lance looks really good, but he seems to be the entire offense. That's not good particularly being sacked 3 times.

I agree. This is not NDSU football, this is Trey Lance football.

Lance might be the best QB yet.

It doesn't look like NDSU has any other weapons on offense.

Our WR’s have made some good plays already this year and Williams has also looked darn good at RB. I think this is a big leap.

Except for a shit ton of tight ends, a stud new RB and a couple of long receivers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On offense we need to keep running off tackle. They are struggling to stop the run when we stretch them out. They are doing a good job plugging the A and B gaps. Play action and get the TE's down the seams more.

On defense we need to get more pressure on the QB. Our 4 dlinemen are not getting it done consistently. Send a LB, S or DB once in awhile. DB's need to get up and jam their receivers to disrupt the timing on their quick throws. LB's seem to have a hard time getting off blocks on up the middle runs.

Coaches need to be a little more aggressive and less passive. GET AFTER THEIR ASSES!

I don't think it's only the ability to run/ and or throw. The ability for Lance to change protections, change plays, manipulate safeties with his eyes, go through a full progression tree will take time. Right now he might be a 2 read or half field read QB.

Other than the catch that led to a TD, his WRs did not help him in the downfield passing game. Running game is working mostly through the edges. Also it felt like he was getting sacked a lot.
