Once again Notre Dame proves to be over rated.
I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.

Pet peeve #1: Players who catch an interception in the endzone, then run it out even though it's obvious they're not going to get 20 yards. (An Oregon player just did this. Made it to the 4, and it led to a quick 3-and-out.)
Pet peeve #2: Oregon's band playing "Augie's Great Municipal Band" from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Who the ever loving fuck wants to be reminded of that piece of shit movie? Seriously.
edit: Though I will admit it's pretty cool that John Williams used the Emperor's Theme from Return of the Jedi as the main theme in Augie's, but hid it by speeding it up and raising it about two octaves. I feel stupid I never realized it until now. And I was a bloody music major and Star Wars fan back in the day. Sheesh.
oregon would probably be a waste of a playoff spot, like all pac12 teams who have tried to play in the playoffs.
best teams are Bama/Ohio St/Clemson and LSU. LSU is @ Bama play in 2 weeks so all eyes will be on that. Oregons going to be the perennial conference winner bitching that LSU didnt win or even play for their conference championship...but is going to beat them for that 4th spot if they lose to bama. vice versa if Bama loses at home to LSU
utah is playing some decent football. your ducks vs the utes in the PAC12 championship will be a good one if everything holds true
It may change with the next round of polling but based on results to date fivethirtyeight suggests Oregon has about a 27% chance to run the table from here. If they manage that they’re 68% to make the playoff.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
The WSU-Oregon game was fun to watch as an outsider.

Oops. Initially posted this in the wrong thread.
Oregon squeaks out a win on a FG as time expired.
but theres 5 power conferences...one will get the shaft and we can't have that. Conference bias aside, the SEC is far and away the best in the country. its fatigue having to hear it(knock on wood with NDSU/FCS fans) but its true. I have no issues making the 4th team a non conference winner if we can affoid a 28 pt playoff blow out to the #1 team-something I think would happen if Oklahoma or Oregon make it.
