I love that Weber St. is favored to beat Montana...but has a worse chance after that than Montana does if they beat Weber. Weird how it works, but makes sense.

That's simply Weber's home field advantage of 2-3 points being considered, given that they are the higher seed, even though Montana has a higher Sagarin rating.

Sounds pretty new and questionable to me. To date, I think NDSU has had the easier route (deservedly as a #1 seed) . But right now, I actually think Montana State might be the 3rd best team out there. They also excel at run which sounds like might be NDSU's "biggest" "weakness" (using those terms lightly, have heard that your front 4 maybe aren't as stellar as years past). For that reason, I think JMU might have as good or better chance getting there but would say I think NDSU has a slight edge of winning if those (2) get to Frisco. If Weber pulls the upset against Montana (because I would actually personally favor them) then I would say JMU might statistically have higher odds when recalculating odds next week (because I do not think Weber has momentum like MSU or Montana). But then again, my opinion probably means even less than this new/questionable rating system.

If the Bison line play doesn't improve on D, I think you're right to favor JMU at this point... The next 2 weeks will tell us a lot.
