Same. Watched every post game show they’ve done and the Monday post-head coach pressed. Too bad.

This will be an epic fail.

That ended for me when they added McFeely.

Thoughts? They have always been the gold standard for coverage, but they have a lot more competition now and I wonder if this is not really the time to do this.

    Discuss.
I probably wont pay for it. Everything is going to a subscription based content now. It is really going to force people to have quality content and will weed out those who dont deliver.

I wonder if VNL will take this as an opportunity.

I don't think VNL even has to. Anyone who is entertaining and has some entry-level web skills can set up an awesome site with an attached podcast.

This is a huge (but predictable) mistake. There's a huge market for this kind of content and the community will fill the void.

Especially since they have to provide content for a broadcast television station too. Dom isn't a newspaper writer, he's a TV sports director. They're going to have to keep some of that free.

That is a lot of work for someone to do out of the goodness of their heart. Any idea how many page views it takes to make a dollar online? Any thoughts on how you would secure sponsorships with virtually no viewership?
