Why should a person have to pay if they are going to have advertising on the site anyway? Isn't that what they sell advertising for? You'd think having to pay would cut down on site hits therefore impacting ad sales. Seems like a sure fire way to decrease their revenue streams.

I understand charging for content, they aren’t a charity.
But as I read Saturday’s paper the only thing interesting was the ads. I already knew what they were reporting.
That is the problem with print. Now if their online content would improve...

I'm not going to pay for it. It will just end up like BisonReport. $4.95/month that I pay even though I read 2 articles a year. I'd cancel it, but you of course can't do it online, and I never think about it when I'm able to call.......I'll do that right now actually. Thanks Dom and Jeff!
Some say it's a backward place. Narrow minds on a narrow way, but I make it a point to say. That that's where I come from.

I think people used to say this about cable TV back in the day. Of course 30 years on we’re all cutting the cord and buying subscription streaming services instead...

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

And a lot of people are just cutting the cord. I think we've reached a tipping point where there is plenty of "free" content out there, might have to put up with the advertising but the time of doing that AND paying is over for some of us.

I enjoy the coverage the guys have provided and I think they do a good job, but I won't be subscribing.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

Pfft. I definitely would pay for the crap on this board!
Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."

I gave AGS money every year I was a member. I would do the same here but Tony appears to be a super baller.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
