    NDSU 82 UND 74
    Michelle Gairalova free throw streak ends at 75,
    And her new streak is 2 .

    NDSU first win in Grand Forks in a long time.

    Wow, the improvement continues. 2 games left and if we win both, we would be .500 in conference play. Odds are we dont beat sdsu but if we split, it's easy to look at these close losses and how close we would have been to having a winning record in conference play.

    But we still feel like miles away from the USD. But I'm feeling optimistic for the future

    With the improvement shown this year, being third behind the two SD schools doesn't seem like it could be that far off. Get there and continue to chip away at their lead. From there it takes one win against them to really build confidence in to something special.

    I think that the SD schools will again find more competition for the ND/SD recruits in the future.
