2020 Verbal: Cam Miller

There was a scramble pass on 3rd or 4th down that HAD to be completed in order to keep the game alive or something (it must have been against ETSU or YSD, but I can’t remember) where he floated it to a WR for a 1st down… I remember watching it over and over again trying to understand how it was possible that he could make a throw like that on purpose…

I'm thinking that was ETSU? The pass looked like it was thrown high to one receiver, but was floated perfectly to a deeper receiver. Could be totally wrong.

Edit: 4th and 10 at ETSU 41. Miller pass complete deep left to Gores at ETSU 21 for 38 yards. Next play Marshall TD. Bison 30-35 ETSU.

Cam is the poster child NDSU needs to hold up on why you don't transfer out:

1. You don't know for sure you will play.
2. NDSU has a solid track record on placing players in the league.
3. NDSU will develop you.

Put it on signs and post it everywhere.

That 4th down throw against ETSU was nothing short of miraculous... the video doesn't do it justice. Check out this still shot I got from one of the replays:




It wasn't just the defense Cam bailed out that day - the pass protection was pretty shoddy as well. On that play Carson Williams, the TE on the right side of the formation, completely blew his blitz pickup giving a rusher a free run at Cam.... didn't matter.

Cam was a Sophomore in 2021, and he didn’t start that game, Quincy did. Cam threw 1 pass for 9 yds in that game.

Assuming you’re talking about his 2022 junior season, against UND he went 8-12 for 159, and ran for 5 touchdowns. 5 TDs for a QB I believe tied a school record. What a fucking liability.
