NDSU takes on Omaha at 4pm tomorrow in the quarterfinals of the Summit League tourney.

Omaha has a GREAT front line and they completely dominated NDSU in Fargo in late October. Sadie Limback was incredible and NDSU had no answer for her. Overall, Isabella Sade and Limback rank 4th and 5th in the Summit in kills per set. They also have Anna Blaschko who leads the Summit in hitting percentage.

If NDSU is to win this match, they'll need to continue their late season trend of minimizing errors. Syra Tanchin and Emily Halverson were great the final weekend of the year and continued performances from those two would give NDSU a punchers chance. Halverson is 5th in the Summit in hitting percentage and was the final Summit league offensive player of the week.

NDSU was shut out of the Summit individual season awards. I would assume Syra Tanchin was close to making the all-freshman team and Emily Halverson wasn't too far away from the honorable mention team. Omaha and South Dakota nearly had their entire starting squad on the teams.

Run by Omaha to go up 13-9.

Kelley Johnson playing really poorly. Need to go with Hagerle, who hasn't been on the floor much.

    Tanchin playing well early.

Omaha is just super talented. Blaschko, Limback, and Sade would all be the best player on NDSU.

Big run late by Omaha to take the first set 25-18.

The difference is setting is pretty noticeable between Omaha and NDSU.

On the bright side, Tanchin played well in the first set and the blockers had some big moments.

If Omaha continues to hit over .400, this will be a three set match.

NDSU up 12-10 in set two.

Tanchin leading the attack and playing well. Bachmeier playing well too.

The blockers up front have neutralized Omahas big three better than I thought they'd be able to so far.

6-0 run has NDSU up 15-10 in set two.

The blockers are doing very well up front and the back row is staying in position and not giving open lanes

There was a huuuuuuuuuuuuge point for NDSU that got them to 20-15 after a couple Omaha points. It was a long rally with a couple really improbable digs.

NDSU currently up 21-17 in a timeout

NDSU blew a 23-19 lead, as Omaha tied it up at 23.

Tanchin kill got it to 24-23. With a set point, a really bad set led to a net violation to tie it back up.

After a block, a big Alexis Bachmeier block on set point number two gave NDSU the second set 26-24.

Bella Lien having an awful third set. NDSU only trails 11-10 but should probably be leading here
