Apparently NDSU added Northern State guard Andrew Kallman.

Andrew Kallman - 6’ 4” 175 - Sr - Chaska MN
Averaged 10 ppg, 4 rpg and 4 apg for Northern State.
Northern State was 19-2 on the season, won the NSIC tournament, won their 1st round regional game before losing in the 2nd game to eventual D2 National Champ Northwest Missouri 91-86.
Sounds like a guy with a chance to break into the rotation.
He and Willie Guy can compete for PG/CG minutes.
Sam averaged 34 mpg, as did Tyree, so coaches can decide if they want to lower that a little. With that depth Willie Guy could even redshirt.

Kallman - in his Sr/Covid year as a PG/CG - brings a 3:1 assists/turnovers ratio. Very impressive!
Greisel was closer to a 1.4 to 1 ratio. McKinney was right about 1:1 as a true freshman. Cook was less than 1:1.

Kallman also shot 37% on his 3’s, so gives another long range option.
That was something Knotek was looked to for providing, so has a shot at those minutes also. Both McKinney and Skunberg need to improve on their 3 game to help get more minutes.

Andrew Morgan of Waseca. Mr. Double-Double from Waseca, the 20 and 10 man who combines with fellow seniors Ryan Dufault and Kyreese Willingham putting strong numbers to beat teams by an average of 29 points a night. Morgan, who will play for North Dakota State near year, is a top 200 ranked player in the nation in the senior class and has the Jays ranked number one in Class AA. Waseca faces Morris Area tomorrow at 4pm (at Chanhassen) in the first round of the state tournament.

Andrew Morgan gets to go up against another talented big from Morris Area - 6’ 8” Jackson Loge (2022). Gopher fans would remember Kevin Loge, Jackson’s Dad, playing for Minnesota back in the day. Jackson has a Fighting Hawks offer so far, as a junior.
Morgan’s teammates, Ryan Dufault and Kyreese Willingham have also signed to play college ball - iirc Dufault with St Thomas and Willingham with Minnesota State Mankato.

why does NDSU wait to offer kids like Jackson Loge. Morris is close and a lot of NDSU fans down there. they seem to not offer local minnesota kids that aggressively.

Waseca moves on to Minnesota Class AA semifinals with 83-58 win over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta

Morgan ended up with 26 points and 12 rebounds, and Dufault scored 23 points with five steals. Seberson scored 16 points, and Willingham added 10.

Jackson Loge led Morris Area scored 23 points to go with eight rebounds.

Waseca (21-1) plays Fergus Falls in the state semifinals at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Target Center.

Andrew Morgan gets another big challenge against Fergus Falls, 7’ Chance Fazio.
Fazio signed with MSU Moorhead and led the Otters to victory in their last game against Perham & NDSU Football signee Finn Diggins.

Per Ryan James - he considers Morgan to be a Top 200 player.
That would be a rare get for NDSU. #3 prospect in Minnesota!

Streit - Bison Report has said he is a 4 for 5 guy.
One guy I can think of they did that with - Rocky Kreuser - turned out alright. Streit is also a Top 10 Minnesota guy - nice!

Kallman - How would Northern State (19-2) have done in the Summit League?
Experienced ball handler, can shoot the 3 if need be.
You mention he was the 3rd best player on the team, well, the P6
Teams are all over the best player with offers, Parker Fox......
Kallman might even be a walk-on. Anyone know???

Willie Guy - depth (at least) guy at the ball handling position.
Player of the year in his Iowa JC Conference.

David Richman says #NDSU will “almost for sure take one more.” Mentions they could take a second player if they wanted to “play around” with the right fit.
