Jah' Heem Leake led West Fargo Sheyenne tonight in a BIG win at Fargo Davies 84-80.

Leake game high scorer with 34 points--drove to basket, posted up, hit pull up jumpers, and hit 3's.......at 6'9

I don't know anything about the kid but is very talented and his best basketball is definitely ahead of him....

would look good in GREEN and GOLD

Thought I heard earlier that he is going to NDSCS.
So could happen. iirc 6’ 10” Jackson Moni signed with Northern State.
Amazing height for that Sheyenne squad.

I had also thought Leake would be fun to see as a PWO TE for someone, at least MSU Moorhead

I think college basketball is his calling---wonder about grades; guys that are 6'9 with ball handling and scoring ability you have to offer and believe can coach up to his potential

Have a friend who's kid plays high school ball in FM. He said the height on all the teams is crazy compared to years ago.

Davies was at a disadvantage to Sheyenne,
but they still had a 6’ 7” F out there who is going to MSU Moorhead (Owen Hektner). Davies was playing a couple other athletic 6’ 3” types on the frontline, but have several other 6’ 5” - 6’ 6” on the bench.
They even have an 8th grader on the roster - someone to watch in the future - Mason Klabo (5’ 10”) - who is playing off the bench. Mason is a younger brother to 6’ 4” Bison TE Jaden Klabo.

I've heard multiple times that Klabo is the real deal.

NDSU needs guards and perimeter players. Coaching staff should be pummeling those players.

When I was in high school ~10 years ago, Jamestown's idea of size was having a 6' 4" guy. Couple years ago they sent a 6' 9" guy to UJ, Skunberg is at NDSU at 6'5." The roster this year has a a 6'5", 6'7", and a 6'8" guy. I have no idea what has changed, not like the town is growing. Nutrition can't have improved that much? Anyway, yeah kids are giant now.

Nice scouting report for Andrew Morgan:

Once again, NDSU Coach Dave Richman got a steal in PF Andrew Morgan. Andrew is a top 200 level national recruit and even scarier, his face-up jumper looks very good.

Morgan had 26 and 9 last night including two threes, a couple 18 footers, and three face-ups out of the post
