10-18 record in 10 years with a trip to Super Regionals (sweet 16) for a mid major program! Looks like a record that alot of P5 teams would love to have. Awesome work ladies!!! Something special is going on and still building with this program!

So we have made the championship twice correct? Pretty impressive record.

Look out coach Trachsel, here come the Bison...maybe you heard of 'em?

I don't know what to think of this matchup. Is the familiarity of the two coaches a good thing or bad thing? All I know is the Gophers are really good this year.

There have been years we have been the "3 seed." Did we get the ripped this tournament? I don't follow SB that closely, but I thought this was one of our better teams.

Nah, luck of the draw for the most part. The NCAA assigns the 2-3-4 teams by geography, not to create an equal balance. If you're wondering why Georgia is coming to MSP if it's based on geography, it likely because every SEC made the tournament. That must have made placement a nightmare. I think the next nearest non-B1G team in the tourney after NDSU/Drake was SIU, and it made more sense to send them to Northwestern.

    RPI for our group:
    8 Minnesota
    23 Drake
    25 Georgia
    49 NDSU

Ndsus been to Washington and Arizona a few times...no other B1G/MN regions to be in for those years?

Do they even fly to Minneapolis for this?
