I searched all over and can't find anything. I am interested to hear what was said.

    Coaching is “too intense.”

Even if everyone returned, the team was still light years behind the South Dakota schools. Would anyone have started for USD or SDSU? Doubtful.

He needs to get new players in that can give them a remote chance of coming within 10 points of the SD schools. Lost last years games by an average of 19 points.

Find some P5 transfers that want to play and maybe hit on a couple freshmen and being #3 in the Summit is possible.

From Dom in his MVFC/Summit notebook article:

Sources tell me that the situation with the women's basketball team is not great right now, with some players complaining of head coach Jory Collins coaching "style and intensity." There could be a couple of more players leave the team via the transfer portal in the coming days.
EDIT: Since this is out there I will share something I wasn't going to share because it's gossipy. A few days ago I happened to be walking behind a current NDSU Women's BBall player and she was on the phone openly complaining about other players and their attitudes and "fit" on the team. It didn't sound good.

I've been told "I don't think I could play for him." Potential recruits talk to players when they come for a visit, text afterwards, etc. When players leave during the season, and more leave afterwards, it gets around in social media.
Here's a question for all the readers of this post: Would you want to play for a hothead?

Well it's better than being on a team where players can only play 3 minutes at a time because they're so out of shape and others taking 2-3 years to figure out how to line up for free throws...

    Small victories

I don't think this team needs to be coached by a sissy. These players don't need coddling. If they don;t want to work, and put in the time, then that's a problem. This isn't church league basketball

I am sure the staffs at USD & SDSU are intense in their coaching. Both teams are fun to watch when they aren't playing the Bison.

One of the few things Ive agreed with you on.

Ive played for and worked for hot heads. Not every coach handles there players with velvet gloves.

Is this a sign of our youth today or society not wanting kids to be worked hard?????
