That would clean up the ballpark real nicely, then we can talk about it being in the top 50 of small ballparks.
the dead mouse on the sidewalk by right field fence looked cool to me.

so will ndsu just stay status quo like they always do?

I think you already know the answer, but the City of Fargo owns the stadium and the Redhawks are responsible for routine maintenance.

Mandan just converted its field to all turf...It's growing on me a bit, even though its different from when I played there 20+ years ago and in some alumni games since then.

And as a semi pro participant in the original league I think it was a requirement to play on natural turf, and I doubt anything has changed.

I think it has. At least 2 of the fields in the American Association are artificial turf(Cleburne Railroaders & Texas AirHogs). Although it's kind of funny that none of the AA North Division teams use turf, while two of the South teams do(both in Texas).

Yes. I knew the first part of your response but learned something new. Thank you for that.

I asked Chapo because it should be pretty evident that NDSU can’t arbitrarily do anything with the facility. He implied otherwise.

Was the mouse D1 or D2? I'm guessing D2 since its provided you another reason to bitch about something.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.
