Final X - Lincoln, last week was Rutgers.

These are our marquee events that features the best two U.S. wrestlers at each weight in a best out of three matches. The winners go on to represent our country at their respective weights, barring things like injuries or suspensions.

Half the weights were at Rutgers and the rest in Lincoln.

The Dake-Dieringer competition is going to fun next month. Right now, I'd give Dake a slight advantage. If Dieringer gets on top in par terre, he might be hard to stop.

He continues to have outstanding international results, but he needs a big break through domestically. Fix is the only guy I can't see him beating domestically, but if he somehow put it all together and made it to Tokyo, I think he would be a medal contender. I'm hoping Casey Cunningham and Cael really help him dial it in this next year.

Christopher, I still think Cox should go 97 kgs next year. Not only would he beat Snyder...he'd beat Sadulaev and become recognized as the best pound for pound wrestler.

My ideal (performance wise) lineup for Tokyo
57- Lee/Fix - I think Fix has a bronze ceiling. I think Lee is slightly higher if he redshirts.
65- Yianni - I think he'll win it. The Olympic redshirt will help him more than anyone
74- Dake - Gold. I know, crazy to pick against JB. But I just can't see anyone taking Dake down. I don't see how Sidakov would score on Dake and Chamizo is just a lazier/less in shape version of Dake.
86- Taylor - If he's 100%, silver seems to be his floor, and Gold is likely.
    97- Cox - Gold
HWT- Snyder - I think Bronze would be his floor. I would pick Petriashvili and Akgul over him, but could see Snyder beating one or both.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next few months as we get ready for the OTT in April (Penn State hosts). I would like to give a personal opinion, but due to my position, it'll just cause trouble.

With that said, not bad of a performance by the Women's and Freestyle team. However, there needs to be a serious investigation into Kazakhstan's unrealistic draws. Not a good look for UWW and this year's host country.

Looks like Poland’s athletes are doing well with their “chemistry.”
