another thing to keep in mind about finau mangy, he grew up playing on a par 3 course which reminds me of the par 3 course in compton:

i also grew up playing on a par 3 course, good old town & country in the south of moorhead, then moved on to hone my game at a 9 (11?) hole club called ponderosa (which moorhead state shut down, morons!)------a few of my other favorite clubs are green valley golf course in lake park, mn and ofcourse the mahnomen country club

What a dominating win that was and what a moment when he and his Father embraced at the end. We will never see anything like that dominance in golf again imo. Gonna be some serious emotion and intensity this morning SlickVic! Wow.

I believe you are right there SlickVic! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbs...tee-times/amp/

The Masters app is free on your phone if you don’t have that yet with a lot of good stuff, and it is nice to have to supplement the TV coverage. Go Tiger, GoBison, GoMasters!!!

Outstanding sir! Remember them well SlickVic! Was playing on a course like that once with my Uncle from California via North Dakota, a WW2 ground pounder combat vet who I learned a lot of great jokes from and heard from others that he would scream himself and his family awake for many many years after. I was pretty young but will never forget standing on a tee box next to him surveying the beautiful Minnesota lakes/forest course and he said with authority, “There is nothing I despise more than warm beer.” He then reached into his bag and grabbed a can, cracked it, and enjoyed a nice warm beer as we waited our turn and soaked in that vista. Can see that scene in my mind’s eye like I was there again. Here’s to him and Earl, here’s to you, and here is to a fifth green jacket for Tiger Woods!!!
