Default Looking Ahead at early non-conference opponents

Butler - In Minneapolis as has been subject of threads and much discussed already. Some surprising wins last year. Head coach been there 24 years with 74-72 record. Has new O-Line coach for 2019 season.

_ND - Changing Offensive from Pro-Set to Spread under new OC Danny FreUND. https://undfootball360.com/news/five...ll-storylines/ Question is if they have the talent on hand to immediately make that change. Fre_ND was not on board for the recruiting process

Delaware - At Delaware. Again has been the subject of previous threads. From Practice #8 [26Mar]: "QB- Everyone's favorite position has Kehoe throwing NFL bombs and Henderson playing laser tag with any receiver under 30 yards. Again, there is limited pressure and that makes a huge difference but we have 3 good quarterbacks moving forward."

UC Davis - at Aggie Stadium. "North Dakota State is going to be a VERY interesting game. They lose their top 2 RBs, their QB, top receiver, and 3 of their top 4 tacklers not to mention their coaching situation is up in the air. I think we likely lose to Cal and don't get me wrong NDSU will likely still be very good, but everything else seems winnable." Retuning QB Jake Maier QBS tops in FCS https://herosports.com/fcs/football-...ake-maier-bzbz

UC Davis is at the Dome.
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Opps, yep you are correct. UC Davis doesn't even show NDSU on their schedule for 2019. Must have been looking at 2017 schedule.

Seems like a recipe for disaster: New offensive scheme with a new, inexperienced Coordinator who was not integral in the recruiting process. We shall see.

He was referring to GFCC and their new OC I believe.

Yes he will but we aren't changing our offensive scheme.

Going from a power run game to a spread is a really big change. It's like night and day. One bright side for UND, they weren't very good at their previous offense so maybe their personnel are better suited to the spread scheme.
