Anyone interested in a bracket type that would give 30 points for the 16-1 upset

My cousin is an actuarial and used to run a bracket that weighted points depressing upon the number of people that picked a team. For instance, since everyone picks 1s over 16s, that would only be 1 point, but if you picked a 14 over a 3 and we're the only one to do so, that could be worth more. It's been a few years can't remember the specifics but it was fun. It got to be a lot of work for him, he's have to create a spreadsheet with dropdowns and then have to babysit a lot of people that had trouble following instructions.

My brother was in a somewhat similar NFL pool back in the day. You picked all 16 games, but then ranked the winners from 1 to 16 based on your confidence. For example, if you picked the Patriots over the Jets and were supremely confident, you gave that game 16 points. You'd give a toss-up game 1 points. The winner of the pool was the one who earned the most "confidence" points.

Not sure if anyone remembers me from my old College Sporting News days but I am but have been with College Sports Journal over the past almost three years. I did a quick preview of the Bison - NCCU game here. Our site does the Sagarin rankings for basketball and have FCS and Group of Five Football coverage with weekly previews and other ratings.

    NCAA press conference - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZZ7MxO-FEw

The interview with NCC players interview about 12-22 minutes in. Their coach about 31 minutes in. NDSU follows after.

One interesting note is the NCC coach said that they haven't played against a stretch 5 this year. Rocky will be an important offensive chip in this game.

I like their coach. Decent guy. Spot on regarding the challenge of guarantee games and scheduling. I totally agree with him on the last 4 in. Let them go to Dayton. Btw, I thought Richman gave a good interview as well. Gracious and complimentary.
I don't care what Jim says. That is not the real Ben Franklin. I'm 99% certain.

Real battle of different styles. Rocky being a stretch 5 and NCCU’s Raasean Davis being a close to the basket guy, at least according to their stats. The 6’ 9” 240 NCC senior is the leading scorer at 14.6 ppg, 8.6 rpg and averaged 29 minutes per game. Shoots 64.5% on fg’s, yikes! Davis is no Dauminator as he hasn’t tried a three pointer all season, so he is doing his damage in close. 68.7% on FT’s.

Hope Kreuser stays out of foul trouble, Geu also as they will be needed on defense. Will Davis follow Kreuser/Geu out to the 3 line?
